About Resilience Lagos
The Lagos State Resilience Office (LASRO) was created by His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, as a result of a strategic partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) program.
The primary output of the partnership will be a Lagos City Resilience Strategy (CRS), which will set out a pathway to help Lagos survive, recover, grow and thrive through the numerous acute shocks (disease outbreak, civil unrest, sudden flooding etc.) and on-going stresses (poverty, pollution, poor housing and slums, unemployment etc.).
The CRS is due for release later this year.
Resilient Lagos Week and Exhibition 2019 (#RLW2019) is the maiden event of the Lagos State Resilience Office (LASRO) in conjunction with strategic partners; Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities (100RC), WaterAid International, Heinrich Boell Foundation, Mercy Corps, Spaces for Change among others.
